Cholena studied visual arts at both TAFE and university and after completing study she spent more than eight years teaching art with TAFE Queensland. She now works as the First Nations Creative Development Officer with Sunshine Coast Council, a role she has held for four years. Cholena loves to share her creative skills which incorporate weaving, ceramics, printmaking including eco-printing, cyanotype, lino, etching and gel plate mono-printing.
