In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to craft a natural base using foraged and sustainable materials, then weave in native blooms and botanicals to design a unique, long-lasting wreath. Guided by Nadine from Blak Botanics, this is a slow, mindful making experience where every stem tells a story and your creation becomes a reflection of place, memory, and creativity.

  • Date/Time: Saturday, 6 December 2025 - 2pm -4pm
  • Duration: 2 hours (approx.) – action-packed with hands-on activities and a demonstration.
  • Location: My Dilly Bag, Forest Glen Village, Sunshine Coast, QLD.

Meet Your Host

Nadine McDonald-Dowd is a Yuwi woman with over 30 years of experience in the arts and cultural sector, having held senior roles in various First Nations-focused initiative including Creative Producer for Commonwealth Games Arts and Cultural Festival and Executive Producer at Queensland Performing Arts Centre. With her background at Blak Botanics, she brings a deep knowledge of native flora and their cultural significance, making this workshop an enriching and authentic experience.
