Recipe Ideas

Roasted Wattleseed Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp ground Wattleseed

Directions:

  1. Boil sugar, water and ground Wattleseed for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Strain.

Serving Suggestion:
Pour over ice cream or add to coffee or a milkshake.

Tea - Pour boiling water over a teaspoon of ground wattleseed. Let steep for 3 minutes and enjoy this caffeine free, chocolate, coffee, nut flavoured tea

Sauce - Mix together equal portions of ground wattleseed, mustard and honey. Pour over favourite protein (kangaroo, emu, beef, pork or tofu).

Syrup - Simmer sugar, water, and ground Wattleseed, then strain. Drizzle over ice cream or stir into coffee for a nutty sweetness.
