Learn the traditional techniques of Indigenous Weaving to make your own basket!
Facilitated by Hannah 'Goanna' from Yuluwirri Weaving, this unique experience will take you on a journey from harvest to process with native Lomandra grass.

Weaving is a sophisticated example of First Nations culture and technology. 
Not only does the process have a deep cultural significance, it brings community together through the sharing of knowledge and experience.
It invites mindfulness and allows people to connect with others and with country.
Pronounced "You-loo-wirry" meaning Rainbow in Gamilaraay language.
Hannah "Goanna" is an Anaiwan/Gamilaraay woman, sharing First Nations values of community and conservation through weaving workshops.

When: Saturday 20th September - 11am – 1pm
