Paint, Learn, Grow Workshop - July School Holidays
Join us for a beautiful hands-on creative experience designed especially for adults. This unique workshop invites you to paint, learn about, and grow your own Bush Tucker while deepening your connection to culture and Country.
This special workshop is proudly facilitated by Mandy Draper, a proud Cabrogal Dharug
Woman from Deadly Dot Pots, alongside Josie Cox, a proud Gamilaroi Woman from The
Bush Nursery.
During this immersive session, participants will experience:
● Bush tucker education – Learn how native plants are grown, cared for, and
traditionally used.
● Caring for Country – Explore the importance of looking after our land, plants, and
waterways.
● Aboriginal-inspired painting – Paint and design your own pot in a relaxed,
supportive environment.
● Creative storytelling and hands-on learning – Connect with culture through shared
knowledge and creative expression.
After painting your pot, you’ll receive your own bush tucker seeds to take home, plant, and
nurture — creating a lasting connection between creativity, learning, and growth. Your
hand-painted pot will become a meaningful reminder of your commitment to Caring for Country.
