HABITAT

Ingredients

4 pears, peeled

2 cups water

2 tbsp native honey

1 tsp My Dilly Bag Rose Myrtle

1 small strip lemon peel

½ tsp vanilla extract

Method


  1. In a saucepan combine water, honey, Rose Myrtle and lemon peel.

  2. Bring to a gentle simmer and add pears.

  3. Simmer for 15–20 minutes until pears are tender.

  4. Remove pears and reduce the liquid slightly to create a syrup.

  5. Serve pears drizzled with syrup and a spoon of yoghurt or cream.

Tip: Rose Myrtle gives the pears a delicate floral note that is light and fragrant.
