Solanum centrale, commonly known as bush tomato or desert tomato/raisin is a plant species native to central Australia, including the Central Desert region. It is a member of the Solanaceae family, which includes other well-known plants such as tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplants. They have a rich, intense flavour, both sweet and tangy and are a good source of Vitamin C & E, Potassium, Iron and Selenium.
