Native Chai n Turmeric Latte

A golden, nourishing latte infused with Australian native botanicals and warming spice.

Ingredients (1 serve)

  • 1 tbsp My Dilly Bag Native Chai Blend
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup milk of choice (full cream, oat, almond or coconut)
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • 1–2 tsp honey or bush honey
  • Pinch cracked black pepper (enhances turmeric benefits)
  • Optional finish: cinnamon or wattleseed dust

Method – Barista Style

  1. Simmer botanicals
    In a small saucepan, combine water, Native Chai Blend, turmeric and black pepper.
    Bring to a gentle simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  2. Strain
    Strain into a mug, pressing ingredients gently to extract flavour.
  3. Froth milk
    Heat and froth milk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Sweeten & blend
    Stir honey into the chai infusion.

Pour & finish Add frothed milk and top with a light dusting of cinnamon or wattleseed.


Golden Native Chai Iced Latte

Brew as above → cool → pour over ice → add cold milk → stir → finish with a pinch of turmeric dust.
