Kids Paint, Learn, Grown Workshop - September School Holidays
Join us these school holidays for a beautiful hands-on creative experience where children are invited to paint, learn and grow their own Bush Tucker.
This special workshop is proudly facilitated by Mandy Draper a proud Cabrogal Dharug Woman from Deadly Dot Pots, alongside Josie Cox a proud Gamilaroi Woman from The Bush Nursery.
Children will learn and experience:
Bush tucker education, including how native plants are grown, cared for and traditionally used. Caring for Country, learning why looking after our land, plants and waterways is important
Aboriginal inspired painting, where each child will paint their own pot
Creativity through hands on learning and storytelling
After painting their own pot, each child will receive their own bush tucker seeds to take home, plant and nurture- creating a lasting connection between creativity, learning and growth. Their hand painted pot becomes their very own growing reminder of caring for Country.
Hosted at My Dilly Bag
