Cholena will guide you through shaping your vine base, learning basic weaving patterns and adding personal elements to your piece. Weaving is a slow, meditative process that encourages connection, reflection and creativity. The objects you choose to include help tell your own story, making each wall hanging completely unique.

During the workshop, participants will share, learn and connect in a relaxed and supportive environment. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished woven piece or a well-started wall hanging, along with the skills and confidence to continue at home if needed.

Participants are invited to bring along small items to incorporate into their weaving — objects that are lightweight and can be pierced or already have holes, such as seed pods, shells, small fabric pieces or found objects of personal meaning. A selection of materials and coloured raffia will also be available on the day.

This is a hands-on, no-fuss workshop designed to be welcoming, creative and enjoyable.
